Best fresh soups, salads, pizza and pie this side of the Mississippi ! It's a busy neighborhood favorite with early dinner hours. Worth your wait. Come early and often. I gotta reply to some negative comments about staff. This is an owner-operated small business whose people put in long hours to provide their art (delicious, nutritious food) to our beautiful community and its visitors. If you require prompt, ego-stroking service, despite a happy, but very busy kitchen and dining area, we have other restaurants you may prefer. You should also avoid eating out in New York!
The food is so good! Best clam chowder, best Caesar, best pizzas and the pies are also fantastic. You can't miss with this place!
We love this place! It's changed over the years, especially through Covid, but the food is still exceptional. I've never had a better Cesear salad. The dressing! The croutons! Every pie we've tried has been very, very good. The sausage is a particular favorite. And the soups! Try the spinach and mushroom. It never disappoints. The folks that run Hillbottom are kind and working hard to feel people fresh, delicious food. Also, pies for dessert are sublime. My favorite place to eat in Port Townsend, no question.

The food here is excellent! They use fresh fruits & vegetables & everything I've tried is tasty. They have great salads, wood fired pizzas & of course the pies are to die for.

It's the best pizza you'll ever have! I love the burnt edge of the crust which is very crunchy and flavorful. My personal favorite is the white pie plus mushrooms. They also have great soups with French bread and great salads. There is also a good selection of berry pies for after pizza for those who are total oinks. Gary
